Mohini The Enchantress

Lord the protector of Dharma on earth ultimate source of happiness. Lord Vishnu has taken many Avatar which has significance story behind and apex to it , lord Vishnu had taken 10 Avatars - Matsya, kurma, Varaha, Narshima, Vamana, Parashurama, Ram, Krishna and Kalki and the most unusual Avatar would be seductive and beautiful Avatar that is Mohini was introduced to Hindu legends for the narrative of EPIC Mahabharata .she Appears as a form of Vishnu.Only female Avatar of lord Vishnu Mohini is also known as enchantress because she was supernatural beautiful and elegant by nature. Mohini enchanter of the hearts she was so attractive that even Shiva was insane for her beauty who had later given birth to Ayyappa lord Vishnu had taken this Avatar at the time of churning of the ocean by the lords and demons to obtain Amruta.

When Indra (the lord of heaven) was over powered by the pride of his prosperity where even Shiva gradually diminished. Observing this, Shiva asked Saga Durvasa to meet Indra in the heaven . Sage appeared uglier than the beggar. Later Indra was riding the elephant ,sage approached Indra who did not appear to recognised the sage. The sage did not get angry and presented a garland which was given by divine mother Indira garland and adjusted it so that he can put for elephant's head , but unfortunately elephant threw down the garland with his trunk. Sage was very furious and cursed Indra that he is prosperity will vanish. As in he was very stressed ,he escape in great Hurry . He went straight to Brahma and prayed him for mercy even the creator couldn't decide what to do an approach Vishnu along with Indra.

Came into a conclusion that he needs to extract Amruta from the immortality Indra with his lords and demons churned the ocean After churning Dhanvantri came out holding the pit of Amruta . The demons grabbed the pot and started running away . Than a battle started between lords and demons . Observing all this lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini in order to resolve this matter ,Mohini was supposed to do is lure the demons and not let them drink the nectar immortality. When Mohini appeared the gods and the demons weee mesmerized to see her beauty . Taking the advantage she lured of them , took the pot of Amruta and tricked the demons.

She asked the lord and demons to sit in separate rows. She started to give nectar to the lords first. As here the demons sat still stupid. By the time it was demons turn the nectar got over and then mohini suddenly disappeared . Later again demons started fighting with lords but demons were defeated as lords had already drunk the nectar by than.
