Manthara poisoned Kaikeyi's Mind.


Manthara is one of the important characters in Ramayan. Perhaps most hated because due to her kaikeyi asked exile for ram. But we should not forget due to that exile ,Ravana was killed . So Ramayana describes  Manthara has Manthara in sanskrit which hump as so she had a hump on her back .And kaikeyi  who is third wife of Dashrata Maharaja and Manthara was the caretaker of Kaikeyi who came along with her after her marriage she  had a kind of authority on Kaikey since she took care of her from childhood. Kaikeyi had immense love for ram more than his own son Bharat.The day when Dashrata Maharaj decided to make ram a king.Than all deites told Lord Vishnu that he cant fulfill the actual purpose of the Ram Avatar by becoming king but here Lord Vishnu denied interfering in this matter then the dieties requested goddess Saraswati for help.On their request  Goddess Sarawasti force Manthara to say what she said .As Manthara knew that Dashrath Maharaj will make Ram the king. That's why she asked to send Bharata and Shatrughan to their grandfather as Ramayana in Telugu watch it is mention that when Lord Ram was playing with his brothers Mantra throws Ram's ball away this makes Lord Ram angry so Rama hits on Manthara knee which hurts her badly. Later Manthara complains about this kaikeyi who then ask Dasharatha to send them to Gurkul that they learn a lesson due this incident, Manthara always wanted to take revenge from Lord Ram. Finally she gets plan to take a revenge on Lord Ram to exile him.



Manthara  first tried to influence Bharata son of kaikeyi by forcing him to be a king  but he later scolded her for provoking him. When Ram was about become the king Manthara went to kaikeyi k and said that your son is in danger. Kaikeyi asked ,what kind of danger? Than Manthara said that Dasharatha Maharaj has decided to make Ram the king .kaikeyi was very happy with that happiness she gave her valuable necklace to Manthara.As Lord Ram is the oldest and the deserving son and will become a great king Manthara throwed that necklace and said that "you have forgotten but I never forget that how Dasthartha has forced your father to marry you and you also don't forget that the king mother is always most respected. But Dasaratha always loved you the most but when Ram will become the king he will love Kaushalya more and than you will become a maid like me". Finally kaiki got provked  asked her what to do? Then Mandara suggest that "once Dashrata Maharaja  had give two vardan which she can ask for and that time has come now so ask your husband to fulfill both your vardan as he hadpromised earlier ".Later kaikeyi ask her husband Dashrath Maharaj her two Vardan first is to make Bharata King and  second is 14 years of exile to Lord Ram. Later when Bhartha came Manthara told her about the exile of Ram ,Lakshman and Sita. He gets very angry and suddenly saw Manthara who was so happy after seeing her Shatragun wanted her to kill her ,but Bharatha saved her and so Bharatha said " if Ram comes to know that you killed a woman than ,he will never forgive us. Later Manthara was abandoned by everyone ,but after when Lord Ram returned he thanked Manthara  because due to her, he went to the forest and was able to kill the (Rakshasas) Ravana.

  WIFE OF LAKSHMAN   Lord sita is the wife of beloved Ram. As ramayana it is that urmila is the younger sister of Sita. Janak Maharaj is the father of their daughter.
