The Untold story of Ravana's Sister

Over thousand years, Ramayana has been shaping ethos of Bharat. But in some context we can call them as pseudo feminist who tried to portray Sri Ramayana in negative light just to suit their agenda. So here going to bust out Surpanakha Assaults who not only released their own karma but also helped bringing good to the world in general. Surpanakha, the sister of Lanka king Ravana who is rakashi ( demoness) in the Hindu Mythology . Kaikesi who was the daughter of Sumali married Maharshi Vishrava who was the father of Sahastra Ravana , kaikesi had become the second wife, she gave birth to four children ,three sons who were Kumbhakarana , Vibhishan and Sahasrakhanda (who was later named as Ravana) and the daughter was names as Surpanakha. Surpanakha also means the one with sharp finger nails.But her grandmother ketumati at her birth named her as Chandranaka has she had nails like moon.

Later at some age she secretly married dhavana who was the Prince of kalkaya Danavan. Ravana was very furious has she had married who were Enemies of the Rakashas. He wanted to punish her but his wife Mandodri convinced her as she was his only sister. After that Ravana Had conquered The Underworld , so he decided to take a visit to his newly married sister that when he discovered the two colours of his sister's husband . As he wanted to kill Ravana and then get he is throne, But later Ravana killed him.when Surpanakha came to know about his husband death she was in a grief and decided to take revenge from his brother as he had killed his love of his life. Unable to bear The Grief so she split time in Lanka and she went to forest to spend some time out there.

Here she saw Shri Rama the prince of Ayodhya who used live in forest with his beautiful wife Sita and brother lakshmana. Surpanakha was mesmerized by the good looks of Sri Ram so she tried to make advances , but Lord Rama kept on rejecting them ,As he had even told that he took a vow of having only one wife so hence he would never accept any other women in life so surpanakha gave up .But later she approached his younger brother lakshmana who had reacted very violently , he was harsh and crucial on this approach and said that she would never become what he desired in a wife. As surpanakha felt insulted by both of them so she tried to attack on Sita but later was attacked by Lakshmana that he cut her nose and left ear and send her back to Lanka.

Then she went to Ravana's court and told him the entire story and also convinced him to get Sita in order to take revenge from Ram and Lakshmana

Ravana was smitten by the Sita's beauty and wanted for himself however the only one who was against this was vibhishan Ravana's other brother ravana called him a traitor and ignored his warnings and proceeded to take sita away as revenge.

As act of killing Jatayu the divine vulture, triggered the war between Lord Ram and Ravana where as after few days of battle Ravana was killed by Lord Ram , Surpanakha was later perished at sea. But lain some believes it said that Surpanakha had no romantic interest in either Ram or Lakshman. She was still seething about the fact that ravana had killed her husband and so instigated him knowing well that he would fight against Lord Ram an eventually be killed by his hands. She was aware that Ravana would be no match for rama and so she patiently plotted for months together and hatched the plan to kill his brother.
